MANDATE
To supervise and lead disaster and emergency management through the implementation of disaster-risk reduction policies, programs, and activities pursuant to Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010 or Republic Act 10121.
VISION
Disaster-resilient community and pro-active disaster management approach with coordinated efforts between local government unit and different stakeholders.
MISSION
To lead in planning, monitoring, coordination, oversight, and implement disaster-risk and vulnerability reduction and management, equipped with the necessary competency and resources by comprehensive formulation of DRR and contingency plans.
