MANDATE
The MSWD provide assistance to other NGAs, LGU, NGOs, POs, and members of civil society in the implementation of programs, projects and services that will alleviate poverty and empower disadvantaged individuals, families and communities to improve their quality of life. It implements statutory and specialized social welfare programs & projects.
VISION
A society where the poor vulnerable and disadvantaged families and communities are empowered for an improved quality of life.
MISSION
To provide social protection and promote the rights & welfare and disadvantaged individual family & community and to contribute to poverty alleviation empowerment through SWD policies, programs and services implemented with or through NGOs, POs, either GOs & other member of civil society.
